As a broadcast journalism major at Arkansas State University, I am gaining a skill set that will benefit me along several career paths in the field of communications. It is my desire to someday work as a reporter and ultimately, a news anchor. It is my passion to share stories that make people think and feel the need to take action. That’s the greatest compliment to a journalist—to know that our words matter and can affect change.
